Had the pleasure of enjoying garden views while using the free WiFi at this lovely holiday home. And yes, towels were indeed available, much to my relief.

Oh, how I adored the experience of using towels that are already provided! Quite a nuisance, really.

I recently stayed in a charming cottage in a beautiful village near Melrose. The location was fantastic, with an easy walk to the town center. The cottage itself was clean, tidy, and well-maintained, with excellent kitchen facilities and spotless crockery and utensils. Despite a few minor issues like a cold cottage upon arrival and a slight water pressure problem, my overall experience was enjoyable. The lack of a back door was a small inconvenience, but the other amenities made up for it. Although the road noise in the main bedroom was quite loud, it didn't hinder my ability to have a good night's sleep. To top it off, the cottage had a lovely garden view, although access was limited. Despite these minor drawbacks, I would highly recommend this place for a peaceful getaway. I had a great stay at this hidden gem in the village.

The cottage was clean, tidy, and well-kept. Kitchen facilities were excellent with spotless crockery and utensils. The sitting room was very comfy, and the beds were lovely with good quality bed linen.

Felt like part of the family, nothing was too much trouble.

For the price we paid, we got exceptional value - the cottage was spotlessly clean, beautifully furnished, and had all the amenities we needed. The location was perfect, just a short walk from the River Tweed and the charming town center. The staff, especially Annie from head office, were incredibly helpful and attentive.

The only thing that could have improved our morning meal was a small selection of condiments or spreads for the toast.

my recent stay in melrose was just as amazing as my previous one. this time, pergola cottage surpassed my expectations. the cottage was immaculately clean, newly furnished, and had a well-equipped kitchen. the owner was also very helpful and the communication was excellent.

No big complaints, but a fan in the upstairs bedroom would have been nice.

The location of the cottage is ideal, with the River Tweed and the charming town within walking distance. the bed is comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. the wifi is strong enough to stream, allowing for easy connectivity.

The lack of a fan in the upstairs bedroom can make it uncomfortably warm.

The cottage was clean and comfortable, with all the necessary amenities. the kitchen facilities were excellent and well-maintained. the location was ideal, with a pleasant walk to the nearby town or a great restaurant just a few steps away.

There was a lack of mirrors with sockets nearby for doing hair. the road resurfacing issue caused parking difficulties and an unnecessary altercation.

The cottage was impeccably clean and had all new furnishings. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything you could need and there were even cleaning supplies available. The shower had good water pressure and there was plenty of hot water. Parking was easy right across the road from the cottage.

The nearest shop was quite a walk away, so it would have been nice to have a small welcome pack with essentials like milk. The bathroom was a bit difficult for tall people due to the sloping ceiling.

Despite being an older cottage, we found Pergola Cottage in Melrose to be incredibly clean and comfortable. The bed linen was fresh and the cottage had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. Martyn, the owner, was very helpful in providing directions and ensuring we had easy access to the keys. The cottage had been refurbished to high standards and we enjoyed a good night's sleep without being disturbed by road noise. The lounge was cozy, the kitchen well-appointed, and the entire house was nice and warm. Plus, the parking was hassle-free. we had a wonderful time and would highly recommend this cottage.
